An unexpectedly expedited shipment of hobbying supplies arrived on Tuesday, allowing me to reach a small but significant milestone: putting the finishing touches on my first Ork models of 2021.
In last week's update on our 2021 Hobbying Sprint, I shared the grim news that my Liquitex varnish had finally expired after six years of noble service, meaning that I wouldn't be able to finish painting and sealing my January build wave for Da Ironbullz until the week of March 15th.
This past Monday, I received a form email from Amazon that I had never seen before, informing me that my new varnish was going to be delivered ahead of schedule on Tuesday!
Fast-forward several days, and I finally completed the 11 models from the January build wave!

Despite taking twice as long as I had hoped, I nevertheless am quite satisfied with the results. They aren't perfect, but they are pretty close to what I had hoped back in January when dreaming them up!
